First Concert at the Pavilion!

Growing up in a small town in the Midwest, there was never a whole lot to do during the summer, except go to concerts at the county or state fairs. It became one of my favorite things to do, and I continue to jump at every opportunity to see one of my favorite artists live.

Last year, I had the opportunity to start working for the Marketing & Communications department at Baylor to help plan and bring concerts to Foster Pavilion. Our first concert is next Tuesday, and I'm so excited to see everything we've worked on come to life.

I knew I always had a passion for the music industry, but it has grown immeasurably since starting my job. Learning all the ins and outs to the business, seeing the hard work that goes into putting on just one concert, and hearing the exciting chatter from everyone around me has been incredible. I'm so excited to work the concert and be able to see the behind-the-scenes work that happens while an event like this goes on.

I truly am so grateful I was given the chance to be involved in something so new and unique at Baylor. It has been one of my favorite experiences during my time here, and I can't wait to see everyone get excited about everything else we have in the works.
