An Ode to the Best People I Know
I've always felt really lucky when it comes to my sisters. I had two best friends placed right in front of me, and I never had to go out searching for them. I truly believe having siblings is one of the greatest blessings someone gets to experience in life, and I'm so thankful I got stuck with mine.
The middle child always gets a bad rap because they always feel like the forgotten child. I, however, couldn't feel more different. One of my very favorite things is being a middle child. It may be because I know how to persuade my mom into letting me have my way, but I think it has a lot to do with being smack dab in the middle of my older and younger sisters.
My sisters are my biggest role models. Having two intelligent, thoughtful, and servant-hearted sisters to look up to has completely changed how I go about my daily life. They hold me accountable and call me higher, give me a shoulder to lean on, and celebrate every success I experience like it's their own. Knowing we get to be stuck with each other for the rest of our lives is something I continuously look forward to.
I couldn't imagine experiencing life without my sisters, and I'm so grateful (even if I didn't like it at the time) my mom made us be friends all those years ago. My greatest gifts in life!
